NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope Launches

science

According to NASA News, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope launched on August 30, twenty twenty-six, aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The observatory, named after NASA's first chief astronomer, will survey billions of stars and galaxies with a field of view far larger than Hubble's, helping scientists study dark energy, exoplanets, and the evolution of the universe. NASA says the telescope is now on a three-month, million-mile journey to a stable orbit beyond Earth.
