Amendment 70: New Opportunity: D.4 Theoretical and Computational Astrophysics Networks

science

NASA Science is opening a new funding opportunity for collaborative research in theoretical and computational astrophysics. The program, known as TCAN, will support networks of researchers tackling grand challenges in time-domain multi-messenger astrophysics, with an emphasis on bringing together expertise from astrophysics, gravitational physics, and computational mathematics. Mandatory notices of intent are due October fifteenth, and full proposals are due December third. NASA says the initiative is designed to strengthen the field by uniting researchers across institutions and disciplines, and to help train the next generation of theoretical and computational scientists.
