Variety reports that Hollywood is warning California over its proposed budget. Studios and entertainment unions say new limits on corporate tax credits will drive productions out of state and cost jobs. In a June eighth letter, the industry coalition sought an exemption from the credit cap, arguing that California risks losing its competitive advantage in film production if it restricts the tax incentives that have made the state a production hub.
