Variety reports that Pearl River Film has launched a new studio with Chinese author Guo Ni to adapt eight of her youth and science fiction franchises. Partners include Black Body Interactive and Meng Guo Ji Media, with Baidu AI Cloud providing production technology support. The studio is committing to bringing these franchises to screen.
