Managing chronic conditions together may be key to longer lifespan, canine study finds

Phys.org reports on new research from Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The study finds that as dogs age, they often develop multiple chronic health conditions, and having more than one can dramatically shorten their lifespan. That's why the researchers emphasize managing these conditions together, rather than treating each one separately, to help dogs live longer.
