A new competition is seeking to determine how capable artificial intelligence is at philosophy. As LessWrong tells it, entrants can submit up to three primarily AI-generated essays on any philosophical topic, accompanied by a report on the methodology used. The event is funded by Forethought Research and offers eleven thousand dollars in total prizes, including three thousand dollars for first place and a five thousand dollar pool for creative methodologies. Submissions are due by October thirty-first, twenty twenty-six, with results expected in late January.
