At the Shanghai International Film Festival, the drama 'Sumpa Kingdom' drew an enthusiastic audience this week. The film explores Xizang's sacred mountain landscapes and is adapted from Miaolian's novel of the same name. Following the screening, director Lhapal Gyal, producer Sonam Gyal, and cast members Tenzin Tsundue, Joy, and Sonam Wangmo took part in a discussion about bringing the story to the screen. The film was selected for the Belt and Road Film Week, a program highlighting cinema from regions connected to China's Belt and Road Initiative.
