CDC reported then deleted two measles deaths that were questioned by RFK Jr.

The CDC has removed two Pennsylvania measles deaths from its national tally, days after first adding them. Ars Technica reports the agency's website showed zero deaths for twenty twenty-six on August twenty-ninth, then two the next day, before that count was replaced with an asterisk by mid-afternoon on August thirtieth. According to the site, the CDC's new director, Erica Schwartz, ordered the change, and a new statement says available information doesn't establish whether measles caused or contributed to the deaths. States have historically been the ones to determine measles case and death counts, not the CDC.
