James Burrows, the prolific television director behind some of broadcast television's most beloved sitcoms, has died at eighty-five. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Burrows, an eleven-time Emmy winner, passed away Friday. He directed episodes of Friends and Will and Grace, among countless other acclaimed series spanning decades of television history.
