Teenager seriously injured in shooting near Birmingham mosque

According to The Guardian, a sixteen-year-old has been hospitalized with potentially life-threatening gunshot wounds following a shooting near a mosque in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham. Police responded to the incident on Bowyer Road shortly before five thirty PM on Wednesday. Authorities have not yet released details about the circumstances or any suspects.
