Marvel wouldn't let Italian Spiderman into a real Spider-Man movie

According to Boing Boing, Italian Spiderman—a cult parody created by Australian collective Alrugo Entertainment in twenty oh seven—apparently won't be making an appearance in Marvel's official Spider-Man films. Shot in a single day on sixteen millimeter film, the spoof was a loving homage to nineteen sixties and seventies Italian action cinema. Though it became a beloved internet classic, Marvel's version of the multiverse apparently won't include its retro Italian charm.
