Russian missile and drone strikes in Ukraine capital kill at least eight and injure dozens

According to the Guardian, Russia conducted a large-scale overnight missile and drone attack on Kyiv early Thursday morning. At least eight people were killed and thirty-four others injured in the strikes. The attack hit multiple residential buildings and sparked a fire at a hotel on one of the capital's central boulevards. Emergency services responded to multiple explosions across the city.
