A GitHub issue highlighted on Hacker News describes a timeout problem in Claude Code: the IDE extension's AskUserQuestion feature waits only sixty seconds for user input before automatically continuing. If a user doesn't respond within that window, the agent proceeds with its task without the answer, disrupting the interactive coding flow.
