'Premier League goalkeepers will be throwing food at the TV' - Hart

Joe Hart, the former England goalkeeper, has criticized a VAR decision that disallowed Marc Cucurella's goal against Austria in a round-of-32 match in Los Angeles. The goal was ruled out for a foul on Austrian goalkeeper Alexander Schlager. Hart believes the contact was minimal and the decision was far too soft — so soft, he says, that Premier League goalkeepers will be throwing food at their TVs over how marginal this call really was. According to Hart, it's a sign of inconsistent refereeing standards in major tournaments.
