Simon Willison has released llm-coding-agent, an open-source tool that lets Claude assist with Python coding. Built on Fable five, it equips Claude with file reading and editing, command execution, and project search. Willison bootstrapped it entirely using Claude Code itself—demonstrating the recursion beautifully. It's available on PyPI as both a command-line utility and a Python library, and for an alpha release, it's impressively polished.
