WebKit has released an MCP server for Safari, connecting Safari's developer tools to AI coding assistants. MCP—the Model Context Protocol—is a standard for AI assistants to interact with external tools. This new server lets developers debug and inspect web pages directly through AI-assisted workflows. It's another sign that professional development tools are being designed around AI from the ground up.
