NCAA president expects no changes to trans athlete rules after US supreme court ruling

sports

According to The Guardian, NCAA president Charlie Baker confirmed that his organization will not revise its policies on transgender athletes following a recent Supreme Court ruling. The NCAA had already effectively banned trans athletes from women's sports in January twenty twenty-five, implementing restrictions for athletes assigned male at birth or taking testosterone therapy. Men's college sports remain open to all athletes. Baker indicated the court's decision to allow states to impose their own bans doesn't prompt the NCAA to reconsider its existing position.
