Supporters stopped from attending Tour de France as wildfires ravage South of France

According to France 24, this year's Tour de France is being disrupted by extreme heat and wildfires. The race's third stage on July 7th is set to pass near an area in France's southwest where fires have broken out. In response, local authorities and race organizers have urged fans to stay away from that section of the route, rather than gather to cheer the riders on.
