A World Cup officiating dispute is heating up hours before kickoff. According to NPR News, the Belgian soccer federation is challenging FIFA's decision to allow U.S. forward Balogun to play, even though he received a red card in his previous match. Belgium filed its objection just eleven hours before the scheduled start in Seattle. European soccer's governing body, UEFA, weighed in as well, calling FIFA's ruling incomprehensible and unjustifiable.
