According to Boing Boing, the internet spent years chasing a video game that turned out never to have existed. It started in twenty twenty-one, when a Reddit user posting to the subreddit r-slash-tipofmyjoystick tried to recall a farming game in the vein of Harvest Moon — but with a dark twist: the premise supposedly involved a man who kills his wife and tries to hide the body while working as a farmer. No one could name it. The hunt stretched on, only for the trail to end in a strange conclusion: the half-remembered game appears to have never been real at all.
