Claude Code as a Claude Coach
dev_tools
According to LessWrong, one developer has turned Claude Code into a personal workout coach. He maintains a git repository with workout instructions and performance logs, asking Claude what to do each session based on his available equipment and energy level. Over three months, his training consistency doubled to nearly three sessions per week, with strength gains ranging from twenty-five to eighty-three percent across key lifts. The system adapts when he wants to change exercises, and Claude learns from feedback to customize the program. While stateless language models don't naturally track progress, using a git repo as memory lets Claude serve as both coach and training log.
