Cloudflare is offering temporary deployments of its Workers platform. Developers can now deploy without creating an account — just use the command npx wrangler deploy with the temporary flag. The project goes live for sixty minutes, which is long enough to test an idea before deciding whether to keep it. If you want to extend it beyond that, a claim link lets you convert it to a permanent deployment. According to Simon Willison, who tested the feature, it works as advertised. While Cloudflare markets this as a tool for AI agents, it's genuinely useful for any developer rapidly prototyping serverless functions.
