At the World Cup, Belgium knock out US team tainted by red card controversy

The United States are out of the World Cup. According to France 24, Belgium's Red Devils dispatched the American side four to one, ending the tournament run despite a reported intervention from Donald Trump. Much of the attention centered on US striker Balogun, who had been shown a red card and was reportedly not cleared to play until FIFA lifted his suspension following an appeal from Trump. In the end, none of it mattered on the scoreboard, as Belgium ran out comfortable winners.
