According to The Guardian, Yale University's biennial environmental performance index has ranked one hundred seventy-seven countries. Estonia emerges as the top performer, followed by Luxembourg and the United Kingdom, which improved from fifth place in two thousand twenty-four. The scorecard shows progress against pollution but reveals widespread stalling on climate action—with the United States falling to twenty-seventh place.
