Streaming service MUBI has acquired worldwide rights to 'Making Marie Antoinette,' a documentary capturing the behind-the-scenes creation of Sofia Coppola's Oscar-winning film. Shot by Eleanor Coppola, Sofia's mother, the film draws from approximately eighty hours of previously unreleased footage recorded on set. Released twenty years ago and starring Kirsten Dunst, the original 'Marie Antoinette' marks a significant milestone with this archival deep dive into its creation, according to Variety.
