InfoWars is finally back, but not quite as you remember it

The Onion, the satirical newspaper, has acquired InfoWars, the conspiracy platform previously owned by Alex Jones. According to Boing Boing, the acquisition follows Jones's lengthy legal battles, which culminated in a court order to liquidate the site. The takeover marks an unusual media moment: the publication famous for parodying misinformation now operates the platform that inspired much of its satire.
