Donald Trump Loses Bid to Restore His Name to Kennedy Center; Court Says Claiming It Would Suffer ‘Financial Decline’ Without Trump Name Is Unsupported by Facts

According to Variety, President Donald Trump's name will not be returning to the Kennedy Center anytime soon. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit ruled against the arts institution's motion to pause a lower court's decision ordering Trump's name removed while the appeal plays out. The court found that the claim the center would suffer financial decline without the Trump name was unsupported by the facts. The underlying ruling came down back in late May.
