According to Boing Boing, Congo's latest Ebola outbreak has now killed six hundred people and is pushing into provinces that had been untouched. Authorities have logged one thousand seven hundred fifty-nine confirmed cases since the outbreak was declared on May fifteenth. Newly suspected cases have surfaced in Kisangani, in Tshopo province, well beyond the epicenter in Ituri, a sign the virus is escaping the original containment zone.
