According to The Guardian, the mystery surrounding a bombing in Monaco has deepened. French police last week identified Anastasia Berezovska as the woman caught on CCTV leaving a rucksack outside a Monaco apartment block. The device exploded, injuring the Ukrainian-born businessman Vadym Iermolaiev as he left the building with his partner and their thirteen-year-old child. Now the case has taken another turn: Berezovska, the prime suspect, was herself killed, and details revealed in court point to the involvement of Ukraine's intelligence agencies. A Ukrainian military intelligence officer has admitted witnessing her killing. The Guardian reports the woman was believed to have planted the explosive device targeting the oligarch.
