Sony updates its decade-old RX10 superzoom

Per Boing Boing, Sony this week announced the RX10 V, a superzoom camera with a one-inch, twenty-megapixel sensor and a twenty-four to six-hundred-millimeter zoom lens from the nearly decade-old RX10 IV. The new model upgrades autofocus, adds a dedicated AI chip for tracking people, birds, animals, vehicles, and insects, and boosts video to ten-bit 4K at sixty frames per second, up from eight-bit at thirty.
