According to ScienceDaily, researchers are investigating whether high-dose vitamin B3, also known as niacin, could improve survival for patients with glioblastoma, one of the deadliest brain cancers. The mechanism is elegant: niacin appears to revive immune cells that tumors typically suppress, potentially allowing the immune system to attack cancer more aggressively. Early trial results have been encouraging, with patients showing significantly better progression-free survival rates than researchers expected.
