Man arrested on suspicion of Ann Widdecombe’s murder is released

The Guardian reports that a twenty-six-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering Ann Widdecombe, the former British MP, has been released from custody and is no longer part of the investigation. Devon and Cornwall police confirmed the development early Saturday. In a statement, Assistant Chief Constable Matt Longman said the priority remains identifying those responsible and ensuring all available evidence is thoroughly examined.
