NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia is launching a sounding rocket this Wednesday, June twenty-fourth, carrying student-developed experiments from the agency's RockSatX and RockOn programs. The launch window opens at five thirty a.m. Eastern time and extends through nine thirty a.m., with a backup day scheduled for Thursday, June twenty-fifth. According to NASA News, these educational programs provide students with hands-on training and experience in aerospace engineering and space science.
