Robert De Niro Expected in Rome for 50th Anniversary Screening of Bernardo Bertolucci’s Historical Epic ‘Novecento’

Robert De Niro is heading to Rome to introduce the newly restored version of Bernardo Bertolucci's historical epic Novecento, which premiered fifty years ago, per Variety. The fiftieth anniversary screening will be presented in two parts. The original ensemble cast included Gérard Depardieu, Burt Lancaster, Dominique Sanda, and Donald Sutherland.
