France 24 reports that firefighters near Paris are still battling two wildfires that have destroyed more than one thousand nine hundred hectares of the Fontainebleau forest, a UNESCO biosphere reserve. According to France 24, police on Monday arrested two people suspected of starting the blaze, which has forced around one thousand local residents to evacuate. The fires were still burning on Tuesday.
