GitHub's Dependabot handles dependency updates for your projects. Per Simon Willison's Weblog, Dependabot now has a new default behavior: waiting at least three days after a new release appears before suggesting an update. The cooldown applies automatically with no configuration, giving newly-released packages time for issues to surface before spreading to projects that depend on them.
