world
Russia struck Kyiv with missiles in the early hours of July 16, the second attack on Ukraine's capital in a week. Meduza reports that two people were killed and six wounded, including a sixteen-year-old, according to city officials. Fires broke out in two districts, hitting a warehouse, parked trucks, and a nonresidential building, though all have since been extinguished. Russia's Defense Ministry said it had targeted military-industrial facilities in Kyiv, along with ports and two vessels in the Odesa region. The previous strike on the city came just two days earlier, on July 14.
