Watching Shia LaBeouf Unravel: ‘He Was Exploding on Set’ and in ‘Deep Pain’

Josh Penn Soskin's debut feature, 'The Rooster Prince,' is based on his true story about his late brother David, a renowned psychiatrist who struggled with bipolar disorder. Shia LaBeouf plays Eli, a character based on Soskin's brother. According to Variety, LaBeouf has been dealing with considerable difficulties on the set. The film also stars Jackson White and Melissa Leo, with production that began last November.
