According to Variety, the publication has partnered with the Edinburgh International Film Festival to open the inaugural Variety Lounge at this year's edition. Supported by tourism board VisitScotland, the space joins similar Variety lounges already operating at Sundance and Toronto. It will be hosted by Variety's Alex Ritman and serve as an exclusive gathering place for industry attendees.
