Severe storms in France: at least two dead, over 50,000 homes lose power

Severe storms have swept across France, leaving at least two people dead and knocking out power to more than fifty thousand homes, according to Euronews. Thirty French departments were placed on orange alert, with forecasters warning of large hailstones on Thursday evening.
