Disney Plus is investing in its U.K. scripted original content following the success of 'Rivals.' The streaming service has appointed Ron O'Berst, most recently at producer Hera Pictures, as director, and Laura Klimke from Pure Fiction Television as senior development manager. The hires reflect Disney's expanding commitment to original British television drama.
