Box Office: ‘The Odyssey’ Has Epic Opening Day With $51 Million

Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" has launched to an epic start, Variety reports. The film earned fifty-one million dollars on its opening Friday from close to four thousand North American screens. Early estimates had put the weekend at ninety to one hundred million dollars, but the strong Friday showing has sent those forecasts climbing.
