According to Variety, a live-action adaptation of The Magic School Bus is moving forward with Elizabeth Banks starring as the iconic Ms. Frizzle. Legendary Entertainment has acquired the project from Universal, which originally optioned it in June twenty twenty. Director Rob Letterman, known for Shark Tales and Detective Pikachu, will write and direct the film. The project has been in development for six years.
