A Ukrainian drone strike on Wildberries warehouses in Elektrostal, outside Moscow, killed one person and injured sixty-one others, with nine in serious condition. A nearby oil depot in Noginsk was hit almost simultaneously, and the resulting fires blanketed parts of the Moscow region in smoke. Meduza reports that preliminary estimates put the damage at more than fifty billion rubles, with up to fifteen percent of the online marketplace's total warehouse space possibly affected. Meduza is republishing an on-the-ground account from the cooperative Bereg, filed as the blaze still burned, capturing merchants who fear they may never be compensated and residents shaken by rumors and smoke drifting over their city.
