science

Scientists will set sail next month on an eight-month Arctic expedition to study how climate change and pollution are affecting the Arctic Ocean. France 24 reports the research team will depart from Kirkenes, Norway, boarding Tara Polar Station — a floating laboratory — to conduct their investigation. Marcel Babin, Scientific Director of the Tara Polaris I expedition, will lead the mission into one of the planet's most climate-sensitive regions.
