Duane Ward, the reliever who anchored the bullpen for the Toronto Blue Jays during their back-to-back World Series-winning seasons in the early 1990s, has died at the age of sixty-two. ESPN SportsCenter reports the news, though the feed does not include a cause. Ward was a key arm on the Jays teams that captured championships in nineteen ninety-two and nineteen ninety-three.
