Kenya’s Rift Valley residents reach breaking point: 'The lake moved into my house’
world
RFI English reports that residents around Kenya's Rift Valley have reached a breaking point as two lakes keep rising. According to RFI, Lake Baringo and Lake Bogoria have been swelling for months, driven by above-average rainfall across the region over recent years, and this summer the waters have pushed the surrounding communities to a tipping point. As one resident tells it, the lake has moved into their house.
