Australia’s life dissatisfaction levels double as ‘wellbeing poverty’ reaches new highs

The Guardian reports on Australian Bureau of Statistics data showing nearly two point two million Australians are living below the wellbeing poverty line. In twenty twenty-five, nine point seven percent of Australians — roughly one in ten — rated their life satisfaction at four out of ten or lower. That's notable because the share reporting very low life satisfaction has doubled over the past decade.
