ICE officers to use body cameras during vehicle stops, Trump ‘border czar’ says

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement will require its officers to record vehicle stops with at least one body camera, according to Tom Homan, the Trump administration's so-called border czar. Speaking on Fox & Friends Weekend, Homan said he wants Americans to see what officers saw when they take action, arguing that such footage exonerates more law enforcement than it convicts. The Guardian notes the move comes as ICE faces renewed scrutiny after its officers fatally shot two men earlier this month.
