Big Bear’s missing bald eagle believed to have been found alive but injured

Jackie, a beloved bald eagle missing for several days from California's Big Bear Lake, has been found alive but injured after a fight with other birds. Per Friends of Bear Valley, which operates the area's viral nestcam, observers spotted the eagle and witnessed a brief altercation with two younger eagles. The group reports the injury came from that encounter, and the eagle is believed to be recovering.
